"Village Place Restaurant" Orangeburg, SC

When I walked through the door at peak lunch time, the tables were empty, straight away I knew this place had a bad rep. I ordered lobster ravioli for around 12 dollars. The portion of this meal is extremly small, the dish was lacking in flavor and umph, served with breadsticks. The restaurant is owned and operated by an Idian owner and chef. The menu is shooting for Italia influence in my opnion, and it's not working. I wouldn't mind seeing them creating dishes they know and are familiar with, with Indian influence, it would thrive in this city. If the restaurant does not change within a few months, I don't see it lasting. I give them a 3 on a 1-10 basis.
